This year Weslin Construction are celebrating 20 years building. Based in Damastown, Dublin 15, the medium-sized building and civil engineering contractor operates within a broad range of sectors, including education, residential, civil engineering, commercial, financial and industrial.

Quality certified to ISO 9001:2015, Weslin Construction’s operations are carried out in the safest manner achievable and with as little environmental impact as possible. This has been achieved through the implementation of safety and environmental management systems which are certified to OHSAS 18001:2007 and ISO 14001:2015 respectively. One of the company’s most valuable assets is its experience. It has worked on diverse projects, both small and large, from minor works to major works. As many of the projects run concurrently, Weslin places the right teams with the right experience on the right jobs.

Among the well known projects Weslin Construction has successfully completed in the Dublin area are: the restoration of the Dublin Diving Bell on Sir John Rogerson’s Quay, the Bull Island Bridge refurbishment works, the installation of four 21 metre steel structured rain screen umbrellas in Meeting House Square, the refurbishment of The Papal Cross in the Phoenix Park, the addition of new glass enclosures at the ICCI Mosque in Clonskeagh for which Weslin is nominated as a finalist at the 2020 Irish Construction Excellence awards, Maxol’s largest Service Station on the N3, and the recent completion of the impressively designed office building at Croftonbridge beside Dublin Airport.

Weslin Construction currently has a number of projects ongoing and near completion; the development of the Print-Making Workshop located at the new, state of the art, university campus at Grangegorman, Bank of Ireland Branch 3 fit-out works, Ballboughal National School extension and Bank of Ireland Baggot Street Plaza fit-out.

After the difficult months of COVID and lockdowns, business is progressing for Weslin Construction and Aidan Boyle is looking to the future with renewed optimism. “We have worked closely with all of our Clients to reduce the impact of Covid-19 on existing live projects. We have also secured critical Framework Contracts and further works with our important repeat business to unsure the Company is well placed with a substantial order book for 2021”
